    Past simple y present perfect

I visited London in 2024 sitúa una visita en un tiempo cerrado. I have visited London presenta una experiencia conectada con el presente sin fijar un periodo cerrado.

    Present perfect simple y continuous

I have written three emails enfoca el resultado; I have been writing emails all morning enfoca la actividad y su duración.

    1. Rutina y futuro. The train leaves at six tomorrow.
    2. Temporalidad. She is working from home this week.
    3. Pasado cerrado. We visited the museum yesterday.
    4. Acción interrumpida. I was cooking when the lights went out.
    5. Resultado presente. They have already booked the tickets.
    6. Duración hasta ahora. They have been waiting for forty minutes.
    7. Orden entre hechos. The film had started before we arrived.
    8. Duración anterior. She had been working for hours before she rested.
    9. Decisión inmediata. The phone is ringing. I will answer it. Will expresa una decisión tomada al hablar.
    10. Plan y evidencia. Look at those clouds: it is going to rain.

    ¿Since exige siempre presente perfecto?

¿Will y be going to significan lo mismo?

Ambas pueden hablar del futuro, pero will suele servir para decisiones, promesas u opiniones; going to, para planes previos o evidencia actual.

¿El presente simple puede hablar del futuro?

Sí, especialmente para horarios y programas: The train leaves at six.
